Vakre Studios was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Vaage. While working as an architectural engineer, I became passionate about distributed ledger technology and began a journey designing user interfaces for complex tools in the industry. My positioning at the intersection of design and engineering gave me the ability to understand the advanced technical details and apply that toward the creation of refined user-experiences.
Since then, I have worked closely with multiple cross-functional teams based in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Australia, transforming innovative ideas into compelling products with strong brand identities. “Vakre” is the Norwegian word for “Beautiful”. At Vakre Studios, I aim to discover the simple beauty within complex systems.
